Copyright, Licensing, and Open Access Policy

Jurnal Informatika dan Teknik Elektro Terapan (JITET) is committed to upholding the highest standards of intellectual property management and providing immediate open access to its content. This policy outlines the journal’s copyright, licensing, and publication rights to ensure clarity and transparency for authors, readers, and the broader research community.

1. Open Access Statement JITET is a fully open-access journal. All articles are freely available to the public immediately upon publication. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful non-commercial purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This policy is in full accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.

2. Author Rights (Copyright Ownership) The copyright of all articles published in JITET remains with the original author(s) without restrictions. Authors retain the full rights to:

  • reuse and republish their work in future scholarly publications;

  • distribute copies of the published article;

  • present the work in conferences, seminars, or academic forums;

  • deposit the article in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other platforms.

To enable publication, authors grant JITET a non-exclusive right of first publication to disseminate the article, ensuring that the journal can legally publish and distribute the work while the author(s) maintain full copyright ownership.

Under this license, the public is free to:
