ANALISIS FLOW-EXPERIENCE DALAM PENGGUNAAN DISCORD SEBAGAI MEDIA KOMUNIKASI MAHASISWA SURABAYA DENGAN METODE TECHNOLOGY ACCEPTANCE MODEL (TAM)

Abstract
Alasan kami melakukan penelitian ini dikarenakan pengguna Discord di Indonesia cukup besar. Hal ini dapat mendorong adanya inovasi penggunaan Discord sebagai media komunikasi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menganalisis aspek-aspek dari Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dan Flow Theory dalam penggunaan Discord sebagai media komunikasi. Dalam penelitian ini, 108 responden yang menggunakan Discord dilibatkan. Metode analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) digunakan untuk menguji keterkaitan antara aspek-aspek dalam Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dan Flow Theory. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu enam hipotesis dapat diterima dan satu hipotesis ditolak. Hipotesis yang diterima menghasilkan hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara ke enam variabel dengan pengalaman penggunaan Discord, sedangkan hipotesis yang ditolak tidak menghasilkan hubungan yang positif dengan pengalaman penggunaan Discord. Saran bagi penelitian selanjutnya, Menggunakan sample yang lebih besar, atau memperluas cakupan responden agar bisa merepresentasikan populasi yang lebih luas. Hal ini dapat meningkatkan validitas dan reliabilitas hasil penelitian.
